So The Cliff Note Version Of The Story

So we decide to have a family day (against the husband's wishes). We go to the Kid's Expo in Denver. We sign up for info for Barbizon.
We get a call to schedule and audition.
No problem. The girls have gone to LA for four years and a couple of gigs.
The audition doesn't cost anything.
Well only 28 people got picked from the audition to go to New York and the girls were picked.The director called us directly.
We had a meeting in two days. We had to come up with a lot of cash and fast.
We've maxed out our credit and are continuing to try to get support for the girls.
We went to the meeting and come to find out - we weren't even supposed to be there.
The participants were supposed to be selected from Barbizon people.
So here we are trying to get the girls sponsors.
We decided to have a fundraiser - while we were making signs we continued to see signs in the paper we put down to paint our signs. Oh, little things like "auditions", "we want you".... blah blah blah
So cliff note version - WE GOT PICKED AND WE WEREN'T EVEN SUPPOSED TO BE THERE!
It is meant to be and we need all the help we can get!
